In July 2024, at 2:17 p.m. on a Wednesday, Maria called. She runs a small taqueria on the west side, and her walk-in freezer had risen to 23 degrees. Her big food delivery was scheduled for Friday morning. That gave us 48 hours to find the root cause, get the right parts, and install them before her food arrived.

What I'd Tell Another Contractor
After many years and hundreds of emergency calls, I've come to believe that speed is not about rushing. It's about using the right information, the right parts, and the right respect for the customer.
- Clean the condenser before condemning the condensing unit. An inexpensive backpack leaf blower can clear a moderately dirty coil and save a service call. But always verify with a meter before selling a repair.
